dasara and deepavali divali 2019

Deepavali Celebrations
My sister Vivardhini and myself were so happy to see colourful lights on this Deepavali festive days and daddy and grandpa bursted some crackers. I was afraid of crackers and I didn't approve after trying once.  But, I liked to watch flower-pot and ground-wheel cracker most. We all enjoyed while papa and grandpa lighted these.

aksharabhyasa ritual writing for first time

Writing process for first time

My parents and grand parents decided to conduct Aksharabhyasa ritual to me to enable me to start writing. Today, I underwent the process at Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Nanjangud. I will have to study from now on for one full generation, say, 20 years!  My sister Vivardhini says 'Good luck bro....'

moana movie song

Moana movie song
Mom had observed my sister Vivardhini singing along with the video-play when Moana movie was played on computer.  Even I liked that song and I  was trying to catch the tune and I was competing with Viva.   So one evening mom made us to sing the song on smule application and the video was made.  Hope you will enjoy too by watching it.

dasera dasara 2019

Dasera Celebrations
I never knew that Dasera festival is the best to witness in Mysuru City.  I overheard, my grandpa was telling everyone that 2019 Mysuru Dasera would be a wonderful experience. He has already shortlisted the cultural programs to be attended.  Needless to say, we have 10 days of school holidays during Dasera.  We all went to the world famous Mysore Palace to witness lighting and had lots and lots of fun.

Please read more about the festival here below:

Navaratri festival
I am enjoying the days during Navaratri festival by making visits to homes of grandma's friends & neighbors.  Navaratri (meaning 9 nights) or Dasera is a hindu festival celebrated all over in India.  Navaratri is a 10 day celebration event, the last day being called Vijayadashami day.  During this 10 day period dolls are arranged and kept in an attractive way.  Happy Dusera to all.

Please read more about the festival here below:

my first ever school

My school
My sister Vivardhini needed to be joined in a school here in Mysore for Upper Kindergarten class.  Hence, Mom took her and me to a nearby school today.  Today Viva joined the new school.  Mom has also admitted me to my first ever school.  Today is the first day of my official schooling.  I have joined for pre-nursery class.  This is also my first ever school.  It is good, clean, neat and teachers are very nice. It is at arm's length from Grandpa and Ajji's (grandma) home, yet, mom takes us by auto-rickshaw to school from home and brings us back in auto-rickshaw to home from school.

We have holidays on every Saturday and Sunday.  We both are having fun at school.
