Doddu unsuccessfully tried out for the GT (Gifted and Talented) program when Abhirama was in the 2nd and 3rd grades. After that, the GT concept was removed from her mind.
He wasn't a GT student until 7th grade. However, he suddenly started studying on his own without any assistance or additional coaching. Thanks to YouTube videos, which helped him understand concepts easily and facilitated better learning. He cleared the GT program when he was in 8th grade. Since then, he has taken all advanced subjects every year. He has also developed an interest in computer programming.
He took the SAT a fortnight back and got the results a few days ago. His scoring in the first attempt is 1480/1600. At this score he has made himself sure of getting free admission in July 2027 in University of Texas, Dallas.
Plus
a monthly scholarship of 2000+ USD till completion of Degree. He shall appear for the SAT after some months for better scoring. Everyone in our family is proud to know his achievement.
And... I am proud too.
